My largely acoustic album from October 2003.
"Notes" var probably my rebellion against the pop machine I felt I was being pushed into when I first moved to London. It was an attempt to find myself again after too many confusing opinions about what kind of music a 24-year-old blond girl like me should be doing.
It was meant to be a kind of "secret" underground release in Denmark but it ended up a big succes with the critics and won me a Danish Music Award for Best Songwriter as well as a Critics' Award for Best Composer.
It all happened at the right time in my life, just when I needed to be re-assured that it was ok to just be myself and write and record the music that felt right even if it didn't impress the pop- and radio-people.
