Notes

“A Beginning, A Detour, An Open Ending” is a box-set containing 3 separate EP’s recorded in March 2007, January 2008 and June 2008 respectively.
These aren’t the ‘left-overs’ – on the contrary!
The box-set contains quite a few of Tina’s very best and most interesting songs to date.

“A Beginning” is quiet and acoustic, as you have come to know from her solo performances.

On “A Detour” we get to hear a darker and more sinister Tina than ever before.

“An Open Ending” is more produced and grander sounding than the first two. Here you’ll find a duet with Icelandic Helgi Jonsson, best known for playing trombone with Sigur Rós. Also worth noting is a recording of “Magic” – a track well-known to Tina’s fans.

As can be read in the booklet that accompanies the box-set, the 3 EP’s mark a kind of transition to ‘adulthood’.
